worse than I thought

I know that Members of Congress have to spend time fundraising, but I was shocked to learn that the Democratic campaign committee in the House actually recommends calling for dollars for four hours each day. I never used to favor public financing of congressional campaigns, but now I think we have to move in that direction with federal supplements for those who accept limits.
